Submission of Locally Developed Learning Resource Material Featuring the Schools Division Histories

The National Cultural Heritage Act of 2009 (RA No. 10066) mandates the Department of Education to "formulate the cultural heritage education programs both for local Filipinos to be incorporated in the formal, alternative and informal education, with the emphasis on the protection, conservation and presentation of cultural heritage and properties" (Article X, Section 38). This law reaffirms cultural education as integral part in Basic Education and must become one of the bases for crafting creative pedagogies and instructional materials.
