Localization of MELCs-BASED Self-Learning Modules (SLMs) in Araling Panlipunan

Consistent with the mandate of Republic Act No. 10533, also known as the "Enhanced Basic Education Act of 2013" and DepEd Order No. 42, s. 2016, entitled "Policy Guidelines on Daily Lesson Preparation for the K to 12 Basic Education Program,” the Schools Division Off‌ice I Pangasinan has been working diligently on the development and implementation of the MELCs, which are designed to meet the specific learning objectives and standards set by the Department of Education. While MELCs have been successful in providing a framework for teaching and learning, it is crucial to ensure that they are tailored to the local needs and cultural context of our learners.
