To reinforce the Makakalikasan core value being promoted by the Department of Education, and in compliance with the attached Regional Memorandum No. 944 s. 2026 Strengthening Ecological Solid Waste Management in DepEd Offices, Schools and Official Activities, this Office directs all public elementary and secondary schools to strengthen the implementation of ecological solid waste management practices which are consistent with Republic Act No. 9003 or the Ecological Solid Waste Management Act of 2000.
