Regional Upskilling of English Teachers in Language Instruction

In line with the commitment of the Department of Education (DepEd) outlined in the MATATAG agenda to give support to teachers to teach better, the Department of Education Regional Office I through the Curriculum and Learning Management Division shall conduct the Regional Upskilling of English Teachers in Language Instruction on March 12-15, 2024. Specific venue will be announced in a hotel in Region 1.
The activity has the following objectives:
a. Facilitate high-quality professional learning opportunities to ensure that English teachers are competent in teaching the standards and proficient in using the target language; and
b. Devise teaching strategies and techniques that develop learners' communicative language competence
