DepEd Order No.40, s.2015 states that "to achieve the goals of the K to 12 Program, the Department of Education (DepEd) needs to enter into partnerships with different groups". Also, it is noted that partnership-building activities shall be carried out by the school head, who shall designate someone to assist him/her. Furthermore, the survey on community-level linkages and partnerships technical assistance needs showed that most school heads signified that highly essential topics they need are a) resourcing or building partnerships, b) sustaining partnerships, and c) mobilizing the community. Therefore, the need to conduct an orientation for District Partnership Focal Persons who are expected to cascade the learnings to their respective co-school heads shall be addressed.
