NATIONWIDE QUALIFYING EXAMINATION FOR THE FISHERIES SCHOLARSHIP PRORAM (FSP)

In reference to the Regional Memorandum No. 402, s. 2026, this Office, through Curriculum Implementation Division (CID), informs the field that the Department of Agriculture - Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Region 1 (BFAR RFQl) will conduct the Nationwide Qualifying Examination for the Fisheries Scholarship Program (FSP) on October 10, 2026 (tentative). The program has three components: (1) Fisheries Industry Leaders Grant (FILG) for incoming Senior High School honor students (SY 2026-2027); (2) Fisherfolk Children Educational Grant (FCEG) for incoming Senior High School students (SY 20026-2027) whose parents/guardians are registered fisherfolk; and (3) Indigenous Cultural Communities/ Indigenous Peoples Grant for graduating or graduate students belonging to NCIP-recognized ICCs/ IPs.
