COMPLETERS OF THE SPECIALIZED TRAINING ON LEARNER RIGHTS AND PROTECTION OPERATIONS

This Office announces the completers in the recently conducted Specialized Training on Learner Rights and Protection (LRP) Operations held at Purok Marcela Resort, Lingayen, Pangasinan on November 20-21 and 29.
In compliance with DepEd Order No. 40 s. 2012 "DepEd Child Protection Policy," the conduct of the said capacity building form part in strengthening the LRP arm of this schools division, particularly serving as an intervention in view of the prevalence of incidents of learner abuse and harassment in schools which include bullying. The said training was also conducted to expand the pool of LRP key players in the districts, taking note of the fact that majority schools in the schools division only have teacher designates as guidance counselors or coordinators, or LRP school focal persons.
