In reference to Regional Memorandum No. 221. s. 2026 and to Proclamation No. 744 (2004) entitled Declaring the Last Monday of March of Every Year as Women with Disabilities Day, this Office, through the Curriculum Implementation Division (CID) informs the field that the Department of Education (DepEd) in coordination with the National Council on Disability Affairs (NCDA), encourages all regions, divisions, and schools to celebrate the 22nd Women with Disabilities Day on March 30, 2026. This year's theme, ‘Landas ng Makabagong Babaylan: Pantay, lnklusibo, at Lahat May Kakayahan," celebrates women with disabilities as visionary leaders whose inherent capabilities drive meaningful inclusion and community transformation.
