The International Coastal Cleanup (ICC) is a global initiative since 1986 and is the largest volunteer effort for the environment every 3rd Saturday of September of every year in over 100 countries. The Philippines joined the ICC in 1994 with the International Maritime Alliance (IMA) as the country coordinator and our country has consistently topped in terms of volunteer turnout paving for the country’s recognition as the cleanup capital of the world.
