REMINDER ON EXAMINATION SECURITY AND PROHIBITION OF RECORDING AND POSTING DURING THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE COMPUTER-BASED NATIONAL CAREER ASSESSMENT EXAMINATION (CB-NCAE)

This is to inform the field that the Bureau of Education Assessment has received reports of incidents during the administration of the Computer-Based National Career Assessment Examination (CB-NCAE) involving both examinees and testing personnel. Reported cases include examinees capturing images of test items, recording videos while answering questions that display test items, and recording their screens using laptops, desktops, or mobile phones. Instances involving testing personnel include recording videos inside the testing room and inadequate monitoring of learners during the examination. Some of these materials were also shared on social media platforms. Even in cases where the recordings did not directly capture test items, such actions are considered breaches of examination security.
