For the information of the field, the UP Subol Society (UPSS) is a non-stock, non-profit university-based organization at the University of the Philippines. As the first premier organization of UP students from Pangasinan, its primary function is to (1) serve the people of their beloved province and (2) provide an avenue for students with Pangasinan roots to meaningfully interact and cooperate. At its core, UPSS aims to promote a purposive scholarship at the university, in Pangasinan, and, consequently, in the country.
