Pursuant to the Proclamation No. 771 of 1996 declaring the third week of January as Autism Consciousness Week and in compliance with Paragraph 3 of DepEd Memorandum No. 22, s. 2021 titled "Observance of National Celebrations on Advocacy Programs in Support to Inclusive Education, the Department of Education, in coordination with the National Council on Disability Affairs (NCDA) encourages the schools in celebrating the 30th Autism Consciousness Day on January 19-25, 2026 with this year's theme, "Mula Kamalayan Tungo sa Gawa: Pag-unlad ng Autism-OK Philippines."
